Sweet nose with dried mango or papaya, vanilla bean, and an intriguing sea salt note that shouldn't work but does.
Palate
Definitely sweet up front with tropical fruits, strong butterscotch note, and surprisingly smooth character that belies the whiskey's high rye content with the spice toned down considerably.
Finish
Medium to long finish with lingering sweetness on the sides of the tongue and jowls, not a whole lot of spice on the back end.
