100 Proof 4-6 Years Wheated Bourbon Heaven Hill / Luxco $25

Almondy and nutty with floral sweetness, vanilla, and a hint of oak. Dark fruit and oakiness coming through with a little darkness to it.

Thin but with a bite to it. Peanut brittle on the front that rolls back with spice and oak. Drier than Larceny, not as sweet, with a delayed effect between front and back palate. More oaky and spicy with a noticeable Kentucky hug.

Long finish with spice and oak notes that stick with you. Very oaky for a light-colored bourbon with lingering spice.

Overall Score
4 / 5
A surprisingly spicy and oak-forward wheated bourbon that defies expectations for the price point, offering distinct character compared to similar Heaven Hill expressions.
