Kirkland Signature Small Batch Barton 1792 Master Distillers Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
92 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Barton $18

Cinnamon and spice with notes of peanut brittle, corn, and a touch of salted butter. Oak becomes more prominent on the second nosing.

Spicy with cinnamon and peanut notes, peanut brittle sweetness, and a little bit of oat on the second sip. Saltwater vanilla taffy character. Reasonably well balanced with sweetness that carries across the palate, countered by a bit of bitterness on the back end without being drying.

Medium finish with a peppery, spicy bite and lingering sweetness, though not a fantastic finish overall. A little bit of bitterness but coats the mouth nicely without being overly dry.

Overall Score
3.5 / 5
A solid, well-balanced budget bourbon that stands toe-to-toe with other $15-20 bottles, offering good value at $18 for a full liter but lacking complexity and excitement.
