Nose
Floral and perfume-forward with chocolate-covered dried fruits (blueberry, cranberry), cinnamon toast crunch notes, vanilla, and subtle oak. Alcohol presence is noticeable at 108 proof but develops nicely with time in the glass.
Palate
Smooth and balanced despite the high proof. Prominent spice characteristic of Willett, with dried strawberry, cinnamon toast crunch with milk, chocolate, and fruity notes up front. The wheat component softens it compared to traditional Willett expressions, but spice remains amazingly present and clearly barrel-derived.
Finish
Long finish with a substantial Kentucky hug and noticeable burn going down. Spice lingers pleasantly with continued dried fruit and chocolate notes.
