Four Roses 2021 Limited Edition Small Batch Review

Have you entered the lottery for the Four Roses Bourbon Limited Edition 2021 yet?

We were lucky enough to be given a sample from Brent Elliott, Master Distiller, so why not give this allocated bourbon a review.

Please enjoy Jim and Mike’s bourbon review. Hop on over to the podcast episode page and listen to Monday’s episode, as there are some secrets in it.

Tasting Notes: Four Roses 2021 Limited Edition Small Batch

Vital Stats: Non-chill filtered and bottled at a 114.2 proof, the 2021 Limited Edition Small Batch features a 16-year-old Bourbon from the OBSV recipe, a 14-year-old OBSQ, a 12-year-old OESK, and a 16-year-old OESV. There are only 14,500 bottles with a $150 MSRP each.

Appearance: Standard small batch bottle with dark honey bourbon inside.

Nose: Rich and complex with leather, dark caramel with dried roses 🌹 petals. Dark ripened fruit with it’s deep sweetness.

Palate: Dark fruit sweetness up front that is almost jam like. Dark Chocolate and heavy cream that is mouth coating with light spice on the sides.

Finish: Long and lengthy that has a pleasurable Kentucky hug.

Overall: How could this not be a buy. One of the best bourbons we have tasted. We both entered the lottery and hopefully will be one of the lucky 14,500 selected.

Go to Four Roses Bourbon] as you have until the 12th of September to enter the lottery. https://fourrosesbourbon.com/…/lim…/2021-le-small-batch/
