Whats your hometown distillery?
Our hometown distillery is Jeptha Creed Distillery and they have just released a their first bottled in bond high rye bourbon. They were kind enough to give us a bottle to review. The new rye bourbon, the distillery noted, is available for purchase in Jeptha Creed’s distillery gift shop, and online for shipping to KY, ND, AK, D.C., and in select stores throughout KY and IN. It will be available in select stores throughout IL, TN, and MO in March of 2022. This craft distillery that sites just off I-64 at Exit 32 is a must visit, especially on a Friday or Saturday night.
“Ne Oublie” is a Scottish Gaelic saying meaning “Never Forget,” a phrase that’s been passed down through the Nethery family for generations. Jeptha Creed was founded on the motto “Don’t Forget Where You Came From,” and they hold true to that to this day. With their incredibly well-rounded backgrounds, creativity, unparalleled work ethic and love for the rich heritage of Kentucky and Scotland. Today they are farming around 1000 acres throughout Shelby County and use the distillery to turn their harvest into something truly special. That’s what we call farm to glass.
We hope you enjoy Jim and Mike’s review. Be sure to check out the podcast episode on your favorite platform. Cheers!
