Is all the hype around Nevada H&C Distilling Co. real?
It took us a while to land a bottle but it finally happened as Big Chief had hunted low and high, even reaching out to the distillery themselves.

Smoke Wagon Small Batch Bourbon is made by combining the older age stock with younger barrels. Like the other two expressions, Smoke Wagon Small Batch Bourbon is non-chill filtered.

Tasting Notes: Smoke Wagon Small Batch Bourbon
Vital Stats: The mashbill is 60% Corn, 36% Rye and 4% Malted Barley. It is non age stated and is sourced from MGP. It is 100 proof. This bottle of Smoke Wagon small batch from Total Wine & More for $54.
Appearance: A bottle straight out of the west that will look beautiful on any shelf. Red amber whiskey inside.
Nose: A white pepper spice with some rum cake, apple butter and a savory vanilla bean aroma.
Palate: Dried date or fig sweetness. The rum cake shows up again. Very creamy bourbon that coats the mouth. A crisp ginger snap cookie with its spice. Drying on the back end.
Finish: Medium lingering to long with a beautiful hug.
Overall: Great buy for us. We are going back to get more. Wait they sold out. Dang, well we are on the hunt again. The hype is real.
