Your own tasting journal.
Every Roadie gets one. Free, forever, included with your free membership. We welcome all Roadies, old and new.
What it is
A private place to log every pour you meet — the ones you love, the ones you'll skip next time, and the bottles you're still making up your mind about. Your journal lives inside your Bourbon Road account and opens on any device you sign into. Write a tasting once, come back to it ten years later, and it's still there.
Every entry uses the same structured format we use on the show: nose, palate, finish, score, and a one-line summary. Type, proof, age, mash bill, and distillery fit naturally alongside. Add a label photo — or let the TTB COLA registry's official label fill it in — and the card is ready to share.

What your journal does
Keep every pour, forever
Whiskey deserves better than a note on your phone that you'll lose when the device dies. Your journal persists as long as your account does — and you own it.
Private by default, public when you want
Every tasting has a toggle. Off, and it's yours alone. On, and it shows up on your member profile and on the Members' Tastings browse page for other Roadies to find.
Searchable the moment you write it
Look up a bottle by name, distillery, type, or a phrase you used in your notes — across your journal, and across everything other Roadies have made public.
Compare notes with other Roadies
See how your palate lines up with the community. When someone else has tasted the same bottle, their public note is right there to read alongside yours.
Share it anywhere on the internet
Every public tasting gets a permanent share link. Paste it into Facebook, Instagram, X, or an email. The link renders a clean preview card with the bottle image, your score, and your name on it.
Yours, credited to you
Every public tasting shows your display name, your tier badge, and the date you joined the Roadies. Your journal is how you build a reputation as a palate — one pour at a time.
How sharing works
Open any tasting in your journal, hit the share button, and a link is minted and copied. That link is permanent — it works in a post next week and a DM three years from now. Anyone who clicks it lands on a clean single-page version of your card with the Bourbon Road chrome around it. They don't need to be members. They don't need to sign in. They just see your note.
Turn a tasting off and its share link politely stops working. Turn it back on and the old link starts working again. You're always in charge of what's out there.
Start your journal.
Free with every Roadie membership — the Encourager tier, which costs nothing and always will. Sign up, set your display name, and start logging pours. The first one's on the house; every one after that is on you.
