Syrupy sweetness with prominent floral notes including rose petal, noticeable rye spice, oak, and raisin bran cereal character. Beautiful and complex nose with significant depth.
Initial taste is surprising and a bit bitter with spice developing as it opens in the glass. Develops into buttery and leathery notes on the sides and back of the tongue. Vanilla, raisin, subtle caramel, pepper spice, and walnut shell bitterness emerge. Dr. Pepper-like quality from the combination of sweetness and spice. More fruity as it continues to open.
Short and quick finish with little staying power. Goes away rapidly without much lingering character or 'hug.' Bitterness and dryness fade quickly.
