Very interesting and sweet with notes of apricot, peach, and nectarine. Light, floral, and sweet without being cloying. The high malted barley content plays a significant role in the aroma profile.
Sweet upfront with a chalky, hard candy minerality reminiscent of Necco candies. Displays sweet tart characteristics with a slight tartness on the back end, like biting into a green apple. Very smooth with no spiciness. Minimal influence from the rye content. The flavor sits prominently on the front of the palate.
A little spice peeks through as it lingers on the tongue, possibly the rye attempting to show itself, though not substantial. The sweetness and nectarine or peach notes continue to linger.
