Bruichladdich The Laddie Rye
100 proof 7 years Single Malt Scotch (Rye) Bruichladdich Islay, Scotland $60 55% rye, 45% malted barley

Anise and malty character. Pine salt notes with herbaceous rye grain aromas. Piney and clean.

Soft and expressive rye spice with graininess and rice bite. Herbal and black tea notes with an almost floral quality. Dark, fudgy mid-palate character that becomes more pronounced on the second sip. Black pepper spice emerges. Herbally aromatic quality throughout.

Bright lemon meringue pie character on the finish. Long finish with lingering spice.

Very good
A genuinely unique Scottish single malt rye with herbaceous tea and spice notes, dark fudgy mid-palate richness, and a bright citrus finish that showcases the creative potential of alternative grain expressions.
