Solid waft of caramel with notes of ripe stone fruit (overripe peach), floral undertones, hint of candied pecans, and a waffle cone sweetness. Oak is apparent. Slight freshness reminiscent of spearmint or wintergreen without actual mint flavor.

Nice baking spices with a savory note that's difficult to pinpoint. Overripe peach continues from the nose. A slight anise on the back of the palate with a sizzling, drying sensation that feels almost like pop rocks. Minimal sweetness; roasted elements but not nuts. Opens up with air exposure to reveal more caramel and peach notes. Medium finish with pleasant spice and freshness.

Medium length, pleasant and not harsh. Slight dryness on the tongue with a pinching sensation. Sizzling spice that opens the palate. Subtle nuttiness without being overly roasted. The finish has an interesting interplay of spice and sweetness that comes with time in the glass.
