Nose

Enticing amber color. Vanilla bean and honey notes. Dark fruits including dried cherry. No excessive ethanol burn for the proof.

Palate

More meat and body than the 10 year. Charred corn notes with sweet corn character. Rich oak and toasted oak coming through. Caramel notes present. Spicy rye coating the mouth nicely with good mouth feel. Decent legs on the glass.

Finish

Long finish with barrel char influence. Creamy and oily mouthfeel. More balanced and rounded than lower proof expressions.
