Sweet honey and caramel with distinctive brown sugar malt character. The malt component is very apparent on the nose, with the wheated bourbon contributing a sweet, approachable quality.
Seamless and balanced with prominent vanilla, baking spice, and light fruit notes. The malt is upfront and dominant on the palate. Very smooth composition without hard breaks between the four blended components. Not bold or overpowering, with a light and refined presentation.
Medium finish with a notable gingery note where the rye component becomes most apparent. The finish cleans the palate nicely. When water is added, additional spice opens up on the nose and brings the rye forward with a pleasant hint of bitterness.
