60% corn, 20% wheat, 10% rye, 10% malted barley
Nose
Beautiful golden color. Grain forward with nice malty depth from the scarlet barley.
Palate
Sweetness upfront from the corn, followed by a penny metallic bite from the rye, then baking spice, orange, and fruit from the wheat. Well balanced across the entire palate with a nice impression from front to back.
Finish
Medium to long with a nutty character from the scarlet barley—walnuts and hazelnuts. The rye lingers noticeably even at 10%.
Very good
A carefully balanced four-grain bourbon that showcases all four American mother grains distinctly while maintaining excellent drinkability and complexity.
