Leapers Fork Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whiskey
100 proof 4 years Tennessee Whiskey Leapers Fork Distillery 70% corn, 15% rye, 15% malted barley

Initially medicinal when first opened, but opens up with extended aeration to reveal pronounced corn sweetness. Notes of cotton candy, fairground caramel, brown sugar, and corn puff cereal. Light and fresh character with sugary sweetness rather than buttery caramel.

Leads with sweetness up front, followed by pop-rocks-style spice on the sides of the tongue and palate. Light bite that announces the whiskey's presence without aggression. Corn-forward character with subtle medicinal undertones.

Medium to short finish with lingering sweetness on the tongue. Minimal Kentucky hug or burn. No extended palate presence but some sweetness remains.

Overall Score
3.6 / 5
A smooth, corn-forward Tennessee whiskey with appealing sweetness and respectable spice that shows strong potential for future age statements, best enjoyed without excessive heat or burn.
