Unmistakably bourbon with big, full body. Initial wave of classic bourbon character followed by a second wave of wine-driven acidity and layered fruit complexity. The red wine cask influence comes through first, then the Oloroso sherry cask arrives with nutty, raisin-y, and resinous notes. Mouthwatering finish. Not overly sweet despite finished bourbon profile. Balanced with a moderate Kentucky hug, spice, and burn on the back palate. When chilled with ice, brown sugar sweetness and buttery texture emerge more prominently while the heat softens considerably.

Oloroso sherry influence brings salty, nutty, resiny, and raisin-y notes with a beautiful body. Mouthwatering. With ice, the finish becomes more focused with buttery brown sugar notes lingering on the back palate, refreshing and easy to drink.
