Nice middle palate presentation with burnt caramel, oak, and tannic dryness. White pepper and black pepper spice. More spice than expected for 94 proof, drinking closer to 100 proof. Toasted marshmallow, grainy Granny Smith apple with a bite, and subtle oak complexity.
