Nose

Smoky corn, sweet caramel, toasted nuts, reminiscent of smoky Cracker Jacks with maltiness and secondary sweetness from the second barrel.

Palate

Very sweet, pulling sweetness from both barrels, buttery on the tongue, creamy mouthfeel, followed by smoke that carries through, with a little bite of pepper and barrel bite further down rather than tip-of-tongue rye bite.

Finish

Smokiness carries through with a Kentucky hug, oak presence from the second barrel with a little bite on the back end.
