More presence on the palate than the nose suggests. Bold flavored with an unusual and difficult-to-identify quality, possibly from the rum cask finish. Sweet entry with layered mid-palate complexity.

Longer finish than the nose implies. Slightly drying oak note on the back end. Medium to long length with some persistence.
