Three Chord Strange Collaboration Straight Kentucky Bourbon Finished in Pinot Noir Barrels
99 proof 2-6 years Bourbon Three Chord Michigan, MI $45 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley

Overwhelming and impactful with prominent stone fruit, berries, and cherries. Notes of old pipe tobacco and a hint of oak. Little bit of corn present but not dominant. Dryness reminiscent of red wine.

Significant richness with deeply embedded berry notes. Sweet but not overly so. Balanced and multi-layered with tingly spice, particularly clove. Silky mouthfeel that slides smoothly without harsh alcohol burn. Some bitterness on the back end.

Mild with medium to long duration. Leather and pepper notes. The rye content hangs around for an extended period, providing complexity that continues to open up.

Very good
A balanced, thinking whiskey with impressive complexity from the Pinot Noir finish that appeals to wine drinkers and finished bourbon enthusiasts alike.
