Nose

Leather, oak, spice, mintiness, and some floral notes with very little sweetness.

Palate

Spicy with vanilla and oak notes, leaning toward rye-forward character with a mid-to-rear palate emphasis. Not a sweet monster, but displays the corn backbone of a Kentucky bourbon.

Finish

Medium finish with a slight bitterness on the back end, perhaps due to the lack of sweetness to balance it. Kentucky hug character.

Respectable
A solid, well-made everyday bourbon with high rye spice and leather notes that works excellently in cocktails at an accessible price point.
