Rich with brown sugar and fruit compote notes of apples, cherries, and peaches; some citrus present but not as pronounced as on the nose; little bit of oaky tannic bitterness; more watery than viscous with limited mouth-coating qualities.

Finish

Medium length with lingering bitterness from the oak and tannins.

Satisfying
A balanced 18-year-old expression with a beautiful fruity nose and honey-dripped character, though the palate and finish don't fully deliver on the nose's promise and the lower proof may limit its impact.
