King of Kentucky Small Batch – Batch 2
107.5 proof 12 to 18 years Bourbon Old Forester / Brown Forman Louisville, KY $299 75% corn, 15% rye, 10% malted barley

Darker aromatic profile with prominent figs, dates, and dried palm fruits. Less ethanol volatility than Batch 1 despite higher proof. Maintains cherry notes with rich, dried fruit character.

Dry with cinnamon, pepper, and oak-char spice. Leathery tobacco bite develops mid-palate with a sizzling character across the tongue. Less tannic weight than Batch 1, but still notably drying with spice-forward progression.

Oak spice and leather persist on the back palate. Finish is satisfying with cinnamon and pepper notes lingering without excessive tannin grip.

Above average
A well-structured, spice-forward expression with darker fruit notes and refined oak character that balances dryness with complexity.
