Tasting Notes: Johnny Fever Bourbon

Vital Stats: This whiskey has a undisclosed a mash bill but is a four grain and is non age stated. We believe it to be over 4 years old. It is 100 proof and has a MSRP of $99

Appearance: A beautiful bottle topped with a shotgun shell. Dark amber bourbon inside.

Nose: Sweet and sticky like sorghum molasses, burnt caramel and juicy fruit gum.

Palate:  An explosion of flavor that is a little drying, toasted marshmallow sweetness with oak. Mouth coating with spice.

Finish: medium with a might Kentucky hug.

Overall: At $99 it is a stretch but its a buy for us because the bourbon is as good as the story. If your a bird hunter you will want this bourbon on your shelf. Would make a great gift for that hunter in your life as well.

Could this be a change for Jeptha Creed Distillery? Stay tuned in and find out.
